Updates and a big decision…

June 21st, 2010

We continue to work hard to get the site launched and things are going well.  There’s still little time for much else, but we’re very close to being ready.  I have been squeezing in some challenge SNGs when I can and have managed to get up to 87.  87 is the number of SNGs it took to complete level one.  At level two I’m up only $50.40 thus far, bringing the total to $177.60.  I need to reach $275.00 to move up.  I’ve been running just a little better over the last 19 SNGs.  The bad run will soon end, and I suspect things will begin moving more swiftly.

Ahh, the big decision…

I recently decided to further utilize my SNG skills in satellite play and not play MTTs that I do not satellite into.  I’m going to do this for the remainder of 2010 and see how it goes.  I don’t play a lot of MTTs but would like to get into them a little more.  I hope to demonstrate that strong SNG skills can lead to big pay days in MTT play.

I have managed to start this off right through playing Step tournaments on Full Tilt.  I managed to turn a $3.30 Step 1 entry into a $75 Step 4 ticket.  I used that Step 4 ticket to enter a 40K MTT and battled my way to a nice 30th place cash for $161.56.  A nice return on a $3.30 investment.  We’ll see how this goes.

The latest…

April 7th, 2010

Hello, everyone.  I wanted to check in with you guys and let you know how things are going.  The website, as you can see, is coming along nicely.  There’s a lot of work being done behind the scenes too.  In fact, I haven’t had time for much else since my last blog.  I’m working feverishly to get everything done by the time the weather improves and hopefully before the WSOP starts.  I’m very pleased with where we’re at and super excited about some of the new features we’ve developed and are implementing.  I’ll have more on those at a later date.

I am carrying on with the SNG challenge, but haven’t played too much recently.  I’m 68 SNGs into level two, and have an ROI of 21.32.  I’ve been running pretty bad but am still up and moving forward.

One of my close friends asked me to come out and play with him in a live tournament (no-limit, mtt) tonight, so I am making a little time for that.  It should be a good time.  Hopefully I can score a win.

More news and updates to come!
